  • If a prompt requests something sexually (i.e. filed under %smut) that is a fannish-recognized kink, it will be listed here.

  • [something]!sex goes by the same rule as above, e.g. wall!sex, hotel!sex, car!sex, chair!sex, makeup!sex.

  • "First time" refers to sexual first time.

  • "Hair" refers to any body hair as a fetish.

Tropes

Tropes are defined as a narrative device or theme that can take place in any story; i.e. can be embedded into canon somehow, or be an AU of its own.
A full list of tropes can be found here

Universes

u:!any - unspecified OR prompt states for any.
Trope requests that don't specify if the trope is to be integrated into canon or in an AU are also marked as Any.

u:!trope.fusion - trope is integrated as a feature in canon and cannot take place in the canon world (usually has magical, supernatural, scifi, or fantastical elements)

AUs - Definite AU elements that cannot or do not fit into either the timeline OR the rules of the canon narrative
  • Career - Tagged career affects the career of ALL characters. Do not overlap with "Mark is Mark, Eduardo is X"(& vice versa)

  • Kink - Tagged kink creates an entirely alternate universe in terms of WORLD RULES, e.g. omegaverse, bdsm.

  • Trope - Tagged trope creates an entirely alternate universe in terms of SETTING, e.g. slavery, psychiatric ward, war, prison, hospital, robots (wherein robots are a normal part of society), fairytale, etc.
    Fandom AU also fits here.

Canon - Take place in the canon timeline OR follows the rules of the canon narrative in some way.
  • Eduardo is Eduardo, Mark is X - Eduardo is an investor, consultant, or some iteration of a businessman while Mark is not simultaneously the creator of Facebook. Alternatively, Mark doesn't go to Harvard (and Eduardo presumably does.)

  • Mark is Mark, Eduardo is X - Mark is the creator of Facebook; Facebook exists in some way; Mark works on Facebook, without Eduardo as the initial CFO. Alternatively, Eduardo doesn't go to Harvard (and Mark presumably does.)

  • College[AU] - Takes place in a college setting, but ambiguous if takes place during "Harvard era."

RPF
  • Filming - during the filming of any movie that any featured character has starred in

u:xover - crossovers that do not fit in the following categories;
  • u:xover.canon - crossovers wherein any canonical character interacts with any canonical character in a different title, in the world of The Social Network; OR canonverse and the crossover universe simultaneously exist.

  • u:xover.fusion - crossovers wherein ALL canonical characters in The Social Network are integrated into the rules/world of a different title

  • u:xover.plot - crossover prompts that adapt the plotline of a different title. May also adapt the world (depending on genre), but not inherently. If it doesn't also adapt the world, additional universe tags may be required if the prompt specifies it.

Warnings

As mentioned or inferred in prompt.

Crossovers

RPF/Movie - Characters from the movie interact with the RPF cast OR RPF counterparts of movie characters are featured (e.g. rl!Mark as compared to tsn!Mark)

Same Actor - Any character that Andrew Garfield or Jesse Eisenberg has starred in interacts with Andrew, Jesse, tsn!Mark, or tsn!Eduardo.

Xover titles - Either must be a well-known movie that any main cast of The Social Network has starred in (e.g. Never Let Me Go, 30 Minutes or Less, Spiderman), OR has been requested at least 3 times.

Xover genres - Sorted by genre. Sometimes dual-tagged if title overlaps with more than one genre. "Drama" indicates a dramatic plot unrelated to romance.
